TJM Recovery Gear Snatch Strap Kits with part numbers 867TJMREKIT1 or 867OXREKIT1 or a combination of these part numbers on the outer carton. The kit consists of a bag containing a snatch strap, 2 bow shackles and a pair of heavy duty gloves. The kit is sold in an outer cardboard carton. Affected kits were sold by TJM stores between February and December 2016.
Why it was recalled
Product labelling on the outer cardboard packaging is not compliant with the relevant mandatory safety standard. Inner labels and instructions for use are compliant with the requirements of the mandatory standard.
Hazard
Absence of warnings or inconsistent information in labelling could result in the strap being used in an unsafe manner or the incorrect recovery kit being purchased.
